A fast growing fixed wireless Internet service provider seeks a Lead Field Technician in Hernando County, FL. We are looking for an individual that can help us grow while advancing their career in the cutting edge of broadband networking.The candidate must be reliable,inquisitive, eager to learn new skills and be able to work with colleagues and customers in a positive environment.
Applicant requirements:
- Experience in radio frequencies and/or router configuration a plus
- Computer skills and smart phone knowledge
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, ability to install cable in attics and crawl spaces,and ability and willingness to use a ladder and install equipment on roofs.
- Must have a valid driving license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must not be afraid of heights as you will be required to climb 50 ft mini towers.
- Willingness to conduct incidental tower climbing on mini-towers. No previous tower experience is required , but must be willing to attend safety training classes. Safety gear provided.
- Occasional overtime required, especially when outages occur!
Applicants will be required to show proof of eligibility for work in the US, driver license and have a clean driving record. Must be willing to do a pre-screening which involves a drug test and a background check. Drug test will also come randomly during employment. Starting pay based on skills you bring but we are competitive! Normal work days range from 7:45am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Please only apply if you meet the above requirements.
