Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is a key point of contact for financial analysis, forecast modeling, target company analysis, presentation preparation and project reporting.

Details:

• Develop financial modeling to measure and analyse revenues
• Prepare variance analysis, forecasts; provide insight into performance
• Preparation and communication of complex financial analysis to senior leaders
• Developing data and KPIs to support strategic analysis and opportunity evaluation.
• Develops effective business relationships with peers, senior finance team, and Dir level of client team; may have VP/ELT exp

Required Knowledge:

• Understanding of the telecommunications industry
• Project management fundamentals and best practices
• Deep budgeting and forecasting models experience
• Experience in M&A
• Solid understanding of telecom products and solutions
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• CPA, CFA and/or MBA an significant asset

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years’ work experience in a financial analytical role
• Experience working with cross-functional teams

Must to have skills:

3. Accounting accreditation eg, CPA, CFA, etc.
4. Advanced proficiency with Excel, SAP and BI Tools (eg, Tableau, etc.)
5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams in a pressured environment
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills with the ability to base decisions on sound financial and market assessments

Nice to have skills:
1. Bilingual English and French (English is must have and other languages would be a bonus)
2. Understanding of the telecommunications industry (

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $43.00-$46.00 per hour
