Name and description of hiring department:
The Business Voice Assurance team is accountable for all assurance tickets for our Enterprise customers in Voice Service, Wholesale, 911, and Voice Circuits.
Main Job Duties / Accountabilities include:
Conduct testing and technical support on a variety of services offered by Bell Business Market using computerized tools
Ensure the proper functioning of products and services for Voice customers
Communicate directly with customers and vendors over the telephone in an inbound contact centre environment,
Work on customer escalation cases
Utilize Business Test Center systems and applications
Act with a focus on customer satisfaction
Keep up with emerging telecommunication technology
Essential Qualifications / Skills:
Candidates who are part of the Craft and Services bargaining unit must have;
A college diploma in electronics or telecommunications, or equivalent work experience
Candidates from outside the Craft and Services bargaining unit must have:
A college diploma in electronics or telecommunications, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of a high school diploma
Fluent in English, French is an asset
Intermediate knowledge on troubleshooting and repair of Voice services
Basic knowledge on IP
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
Working Conditions:
The candidate may be called upon to work variable schedules according to business needs (schedules within a given day are prepared by the Company with due consideration to seniority), to participate in a standby program and work overtime as needed. Available and flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays as needed.
Note that many working conditions are subject to terms outlined in the collective agreement.
