We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT/Digital Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team.
The IT/Digital Procurement Manager will oversee a wide range of Technology and Digital indirect services and spend. Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you will oversee a wide range of Technology and Digital indirect services, managing a multi-million-pound portfolio of global IT/Digital spend with key suppliers.
This is a hybrid position, therefore you need be based near London or Birmingham.
Key Achievements & Responsibilities
Managing a multi-million-pound portfolio of global IT/Digital spend with key suppliers and executing a range of sourcing strategies across IT and Digital.
Strong demonstrable category expertise within IT and Digital, including outsourcing, offshoring and onshoringservices (infrastructure, apps, online, web, software, licenses, hardware, and telecommunications).
Proven ability to develop deeper more strategic relationships to foster better ways of working, advance innovation, and drive efficiencies and value for money.
Working with the Head of Procurement, ensure all approved projects meet the business needs and is aligned to the business plan, change programme strategy and supplier selection process.
Support and proactively challenge key stakeholders in scoping and identifying requirements.
Implement Supplier Relationship Management as an effective and efficient process, ensuring compliance with all policies, standards, and governance/risk mechanisms
Lead cost management exercises to identify waste, reduce risk and drive savings in external costs. Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks and demonstrate ongoing value for money.
Manage the full end to end procurement lifecycle, including ITT, RFP, RFQ, Stakeholder Management, Category Management and Supplier Management.
Experience Required
Demonstrable IT & Digital sourcing and contract negotiation experience.
Extensive and proven track record of leading sourcing activity from cradle to grave within the private sector.
Excellent communication skills. The ability to engage with all stakeholders/senior business managers from various divisions across a matrix organisation.
MCIPS qualified.
