Our Fortune 250 client is looking to hire Business Relationship Managers to join on with their IT PMO Organization. Your work will impact their core line of business, within the TV space. Their current initiatives surround custom software development with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

You will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships, understand the business value of new IT project requests, advise business partners on technical implications and solution options, and support other members of the team in achieving desired results through the delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, consulting, or business development within a technical discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to build strong relationships; possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
• Portfolio Management, Enterprise Prioritization and Delivery Planning skills
• Elicit and groom well-defined problem/opportunity statements and business values
• Interface with all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-suite executives
• Improve existing processes and act as a champion for change
• Navigate a large IT department with a high number of technologies and technical disciplines
• Facilitate innovation in business process and technical solution delivery
• Project experience utilizing Agile project methodologies for technical or software development
• Experience interfacing and communicating with Executives in relation to IT projects
• Understanding of IT portfolio management and evaluating project criteria on ROI, strategic alignment, cost savings and suitability
• Prior Telecom and/or Wireless experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES/DAY TO DAY

• Collaborate between IT and Business Partners to ensure requests are prioritized, communicated and transparent from intake to delivery
• Provide/facilitate road mapping to support overall business strategies for various business units.
• Work closely with program managers and IT delivery teams for feature/project delivery
• Interface and partner with Business Sponsors as needed (discovery, design review and approvals, implementation, and communication)
• Provide executive and stakeholder communication on portfolios/projects
• Coordinate strategic reviews between business and IT stakeholders to increase collaboration
