Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Demonstrates ownership of the project objectives and results;
- Responsible for performance and achievement of project goals and objectives;
- Helps to establish goals, objectives for personal achievement;
- Identifies risks and participates in risk management and mitigation processes.
- Assist with customer relationship management.
- Supports in the identification and resolution of customer issues and concerns.
- Escalates issues where appropriate to program leadership and works to resolve them.
Planning:
- Support the development of work plans, Project Management Plans and schedules as required for internal IDOS project management.
- Participates in planning and scheduling activities with customers, project managers, and relevant customer groups.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Provides central point of collaboration between the IDOS program management team on assigned project/programs.
- Coordinates and collaborates with other functional customer areas as required.
- Collaborates with all task areas on the program to develop and manage schedules and plans, obtain status, resolve issues, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Supports meeting management activities in support of task area – setting up calls, meeting minutes, etc.
- Assists in the development, acquisition, and maintenance of meeting minutes, action items, risks, issues and decisions across assigned task area.
Status Reporting:
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly status reports as required, representing the accomplishments, issues, concerns, risks, near term plans, and hours expended for their area of responsibility.
- Reports on and helps to develop key metrics for their area of responsibility;
- Supports and maintains weekly / monthly program level status reports, including task execution, financial reporting, and exception reporting.
- Assists in the development, acquisition, reporting, and maintenance of metrics and measures across all task areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as healthcare management, HIT, or other business area.
- Experience working in a helpdesk environment and/or providing support as a BA or PC on a systems project.
- High level of customer service experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience – requires strong knowledge of other healthcare measures and standards, including how program data is being procured, translated, transmitted, and communicated.
- Specific skills related to project administration, reporting, financial management, meeting admin, telecom, etc.
Technical Skills
- Must be highly proficient with word processing, databases and spreadsheet programs; preferably MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Project, Publisher, Visio, Adobe editor/PDF creation software.
- Familiarity act as user of Confluence and JIRA
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
- Should be extremely facts and data oriented.
- Should be deadline and closure oriented.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills.
- High Energy Levels. Should be self-driven.
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.
