Python Developer

Our telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for a Python Developer to work on large scale IT projects. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience in this field.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Building transactional chatbots for enterprise applications
• Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural-Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML) to build these conversational assistants
• Ensuring that algorithms generate accurate user recommendations
• Running tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting results
• Documenting ML processes
• Keeping abreast of developments in ML

Key Competencies and Experience:

• Must have strong, hands-on experience in Python and integrating Natural Language Processing engines like Rasa, Wit, DiagFlow, Watson, etc., and NLP Libraries like spaCy/MITIE/sklearn/scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of ML processes
• Experience in developing high performance code in Python
• Experience in unit and performance testing
• Experience in multi threading and database integration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems is an asset
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Background in a customer interfacing role
• Telecom industry experience or knowledge
• Bilingualism, French/English, considered an asset
