Job Overview
- 3+ years of relevant experience in network engineering roles
- Experience working in a Telecom service provider environment
- Hands on experience with Cisco Networking Software Systems, specifically IOS XR and related routing and switching technologies (Catalyst, ASR< CRS, IOS, OSPF, MPLS, BGP.. Etc.)
- Experience working in a Network Operations Centre
- Strong communication skills and ability to work successfully with client

Day-to-Day
Insight Global is looking for 3 Jr. Network Engineers to join a major networking/telecommunications equipment provider to work onsite at a major Telecom client to monitor and implement Cisco products. Engineers will be onsite in the network operations center to monitor network infrastructure to ensure network quality and resiliency. Successful candidates will work with the client and act as the first line of defense while using Cisco’s Suite of products, services and solutions to improve the network.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
