Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a goal-driven Vertical Market Manager to help us increase our sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within the ICT TELECOM & Data Center markets within the Northwest territory. In this role, we expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. The Vertical Market Manager’s responsibilities include providing accurate and timely updates on product forecasting, identifying new opportunities and new clients, working with national accounts, independent factory reps, wholesalers, contractors, addressing both new and existing client’s needs as well as identifying new product opportunities. To be successful as a Vertical Market Manager, you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise strong leadership skills and provide accurate and timely reports to the VP of Sales. Ultimately, this position must also be a representative expert for the rest of the organization on the ICT TELECOM & data center vertical products and must ensure that all departments are prepared for successful product delivery and go-to-market readiness.
Key job responsibilities:
· Maintain solid working relationships with all areas within your vertical market
· Present products and services to prospective customers.
· Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales within ICT TELECOM & data center markets.
· Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
· Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for ICT TELECOM & Data center markets; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
· Maintain sales volume, available products and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
· Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
· Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
· Continually develop technical knowledge, knowledge of business climate, applications, and competitors.
· Continually assess current business distribution channels/reps, develop, and evaluate their performance.
· Attend trade shows to promote company products and services.
· Prepare and submit reports to VP of Sales.
We would love to hear from people with:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, business management, marketing, or related field is preferred.
· Proven experience working in a high-level sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
· Experience in the HVAC industry
· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
· Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPI’s.
· Strong business sense and ICT TELECOM and/or data center industry experience.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational and leadership skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
