The Position: We’re looking for Cable Maintenance Technician. The pay range we’re offering is based on a piece rate. We train all new Candidates while continuing to practice all safety Procedures.

Requirements:

All applicants must have the following:

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Non GDL Preferably)

· Clean Driver’s Abstract

· Must be willing to work out of town

· Reliable (must be a quick learner and be technically minded)

· Excellent Attention to Detail (must take pride in their work)

· Experienced in The Use of Hand & Power Tools

· Team Player (must be able to following instructions and policies)

· Must be Able to Work at Heights (Fall Arrest an Asset but not Necessary)

· Must be Safety Orientated At All Times

Responsibilities:

· Each Technician, must adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures while working in the field.

· Technicians will be responsible for performing upgrade on the Cable Plant. This will require use of a bucket truck and specific tools must be used.

· All new hires will be trained to the standards and procedures of the trade.

· Attention to detail and quality workmanship is a must.

· All employees must supply their own CSA steel toed boots as well as hard hat.

The Location: Tomic Communications is based in Edmonton, AB, with work being performed across Canada, but mainly in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Job Types: Full-time, Fly-In/Fly-Out

Salary: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
