About the Team

The team is led by the Director, Connectivity for Good and is comprised of event managers and 2-4 delegate liaisons coordinators, in addition to operations, content and marketing.

Our events bring together the public and private sectors, helping them tackling the world’s most pressing challenges and transform lives through access to mobile. We provide tailored programmes within unique environments to facilitate government, regulatory and industry debate and knowledge sharing, contributing to the year-round advocacy activities the GSMA conducts on of its members.

Our flagship event is the Ministerial Programme
at MWC Barcelona
, which brings together the most influential telecommunications leaders from across the world. Convening industry CEOs, ministers, telecom regulators, data protection authorities, and senior representatives of international organisations.
This unique and exclusive forum expands knowledge, stimulates debate around current issues and it provides an opportunity to engage with mobile industry experts on policy and regulatory topics on a scale that no other event can match.

You will engage closely with external and internal stakeholders, coordinating all aspects related to closed door roundtables and bilateral meetings at the GSMA Ministerial Programme at MWC Barcelona 2023.

You will be responsible for the coordination of meetings including database and calendar update, invitation and RSVP process, specific attendance criteria and pass access. You will act as a point of contact for internal teams regarding meetings and will be working closely with the delegate liaison coordinators regarding attendance to meetings.

Potential onsite support to deliver the event is typically one week but will be dependent on travel restrictions and team needs.

About You

You are highly self-motivated and committed, able to work autonomously as well as being a strong team player. You have excellent personal organisation, prioritisation and workload management skills. Your attention to detail is exceptional and you have the ability to track changes and predict their subsequent implications.

You also have solid data processing experience and a high level technical competence in standard Microsoft Office products.

You have professional translation experience and knowledge of CRM software and database management.

You have worked in an international environment before and are willing to travel internationally.
