Network Cabling Specialist

Network Cabling Technician: Delmi Solution Inc. currently has opening for Network Cabling, Wireless and Security Technicians at the Woodbridge location.

Summary:
The successful applicant will be responsible and assisting in the installation, troubleshooting and termination of all types of network cabling including multi-pair, Cat5e, Cat6, CATV and various low voltage wiring components. While on the job, the prospective candidate will learn the processes of testing and troubleshooting of wireless, CCTV and security equipment.
Job Functions
We are seeking responsible individuals who understand and takes pride in their work to succeed. Only serious applicants will be considered. We will provide some training to the right candidate both on site and vendor training with a comprehensive paid training program that includes industry safety practices and extensive field/classroom instruction designed to prepare you for a successful career. The successful candidate will be required to work with the lead with hand within the following areas:

• the design and installation of new cabling in new or existing buildings
• termination, troubleshooting and testing of new cabling and existing cabling
• Installing new telecommunications racks and cabinets
• Installing low voltage cabling
• Installing and troubleshooting new and existing CCTV equipment
• Installing and troubleshooting new and existing wireless equipment
• Installing and troubleshooting new and existing Access Control equipment

Professional Skills

• No prior Knowledge is required but must be willing and committed to learn

• Knowledgeable in structured cabling and other advanced technologies
• Communicates effectively and appropriately when dealing with others.
• Demonstrates the initiative and creativity for self-development within and outside of

the company.

• knowledge with the use of hand held power tools

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of basic computer and demonstrate good writing skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel .
• Must work well with no supervision and in a team environment.
• Must be knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and terminations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record.

• Prospective candidate would be require to have a background check performed

Remunerations: Negotiable with vacation pay
