Description:

• Responsible for Entrance Facility Design and Implementation through Inventory. also includes Circuit Design and Implementation of Waves, and Shared Access NNI’s, for Legacy and iEN/Access Unification. 5-7 years of experience

• Individuals will provide High-Level Design and Implementation duties primarily related to Wave products/services in support of Legacy and OneNetwork facilities. This will include but not limited to Network Access NNI’s between VzB and Third Party Vendors, Customer dedicated wave designs that contain an off-net portion, Unified Access Parent facilities between VzB and customer premises. Additionally, Updating City Plans and systems to reflect VzB’s Off-NET capabilities within each city/market. Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 4 years circuit design/provisioning and/or Operations telecommunications experience required. Prior experience working with Off-NET providers, sending ASRs, designing/ordering IXC Leases, Wave Design, Implementation, troubleshooting, Ethernet, and Third party Entrance Facilities a plus. Additionally, knowledge of VzB Inventory systems such as MECCA/BGW/TCOMS as well as Microsoft Office suite/Google suite is beneficial.

• Will be validating telecom vendor invoices against contractual rates/discounts/monthly usage measurements; reconciling discrepancies by documenting errors; ensuring credits are received; participating in quarterly vendor management meetings; processing timely payments via PeopleSoft with allocation of charges to the proper account codes. Works with AP, follows month-end close procedures, prepares accruals, and verifies amounts posted in GL.; places circuit orders with Local Exchange Carriers and Interexchange Carriers; coordinates circuit installation between vendor and Operations personnel; tracks order status and escalate as required to insure timely completion; assigns equipment and facilities in the circuit inventory system,. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
