Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054 (hybrid)

Summary

This resource will be a part of Business Network Operations Center for major cable and telecom carriers and cellular connectivity from cell tower to main switching center.

These engineers will support 5G initiative building 5G network; Break fix agents for 5G sites; there are cell towers and will managing CP devices including radio.

Responsibilities

· Hands-on IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment

· Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services.

· Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues.

· Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards.

· Process all customer calls/emails and take ownership of issue until resolution

· Troubleshoot network outages, network latency, or CPE failures until resolution

· Setup dispatch and troubleshoot issues with local field operations to resolve customer/network related issues

· Direct efforts to maintain service Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) within regional or contractual standards

Qualifications

· Specific knowledge and 1 to 3 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers

· Knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing

· Solid knowledge of Layer 2 troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, Layer 2 protocols, IP Protocols)

· Experience with routing protocol is a plus

· Firewall experience with firewalls such as (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.)

· Knowledge of Cisco switches and routers

· Certifications such as (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) – a big plus

· Knowledge of Networks – LAN, WAN, MAN, Ethernet, Cell Backhaul, DOCSIS Standards, Ethernet over HFC

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
