Job Description
As part of the Advanced Solutions (Managed Services) team, you will handle NOC requests ranging from routing/switching, firewall, VoIP, and helpdesk support that transcend our clients’ expectations. That’s what our Engineers do with every engagement, with a commitment to technical excellence.   • Work rotating shifts
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Process tickets which may include escalations, alarms, incidents and service requests reported by monitoring tools, ticketing portals, calls and emails
  • Provide triage to issues including but not limited to route/switch, security, wireless, VoIP, Datacenter, and applications
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and information gathering
  • Work with Vendors and Service Providers to complete repair tickets and hardware RMA
  • Take ownership of open tickets, manage priority and provide updates
  • Obtain and maintain certifications and accreditations consistent with job responsibilities
  • Contribute to team and company culture, knowledge, and morale

The next level (the must-haves):
  • Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is strongly encouraged, however prior experience in supporting network environments will be considered.
  • Prior experience in a support / NOC role is preferred – OR – 2-4 years experience in supporting Network Routing, Switching, Security, or Collaboration products or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of network technology including Ethernet, TCP/ IP, OSPF, BGP4, VPN, VLAN, QoS and VoIP
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and Internet standards including excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
