P2 – Copywriter – Toronto

We are looking for a Copywriter to support our client, a leading Canadian Telecommunications company, in their Toronto, ON office (working from home until further notice). In this role you will work full time hours on a 12 month assignment, and earn a rate competitive within the industry.

Responsibilities
As a Copywriter you will help to support the creative vision and exceptional execution of work by our Creative Services department. In addition to being a linguistic superstar, you’ll bring a voice that is consistent across all our marketing communications.

What to expect

• Write copy across a broad range of projects and media, including but not limited to: acquisition and base campaign copy focused on conversions (advertisements, emails, sales, and marketing content). Social media and community content writing. Website/UX and technical copywriting and internal business documentation.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, internal meetings and briefs to assist in the development of Virgin Plus

Qualifications

• Portfolio.
• 3+ years senior copywriter experience
• Experience executing highly targeted marketing campaigns
• Strong thinker and comfortable with a sometimes fast paced environment
• You have a razor-sharp attention for detail
• Mobile phone/telecom experience a plus.
• You love collaborating, a challenge and finding creative solutions to marketing problems
• You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and you’re comfortable presenting
