Permit Coordinator

Telecon Design is currently seeking a career-minded Permit Coordinator to join our team.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Vaughan office location.

Responsibilities:

• Submit the necessary paperwork and documentation to municipalities for permits and markups
• Review and maintain support documents, schematics and procedural manuals to ensure adherence to company and client standards
• Update project information in client database when required
• Respond to various request and inquiries from internal team members and clients
• Communicate any discrepancies to internal and external customers
• Follow-up on requests and ensure client/approver requirements are met
• Maintain and organize project documents and ensure all paperwork is collected
• Prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence as required
• Perform various data entry and administrative duties as required
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Graduation Diploma
• Working toward a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Accounting or Finance preferred
• Job related experience in project support and administration preferred
• Experience with project tracking
• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proven organization abilities and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work and focus on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat attitude
• Dynamic and able to maintain excellent relations with peers, customers and internal resources
• A committed team player
• Ability to multitask and work within tight time frames
