Job Summary

Trileaf is seeking a full time, SOI-Qualified, Project Archaeologist based in Colorado. This individual should have at least 2 years of field experience and applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects. Projects are generally completed through Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Therefore, previous regional archaeological experience is preferred. This position will be remote and will not report to an office.


Responsibilities and Duties

The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion of SHPO file reviews for above and below ground cultural resources, unsupervised Phase I archaeological surveys, and cultural resource report writing/production.

  • Valid Driver License
  • Capable of field work
  • Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
  • Good computer skills Be an independent


Education:

  • Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
