Project Manager

Project Manager is the latest opportunity to join our growing team at Encepta.

In this role, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment on reshaping the way telecommunications companies design and deliver their services.

They will get to build new projects and programs from the ground up. Working with internal and external resources you will take full ownership of planning and implementing projects. You will need top notch communication skills along with the ability to learn, build and adapt quickly to changing technology and processes.

Some of the responsibilities include:

– Project Manage a multi-year telecommunication utility design and build project including managing utility construction sub-contractors.
– Coordinate the intake of work and scheduling of labour of the project team so that each delivery milestone is clearly defined and achieved.
– Produce status reports identifying progress status, productivity and logistical details identifying risks, impacts, and issues.
– Produce a financial report identifying spend rate, labour effectiveness, and financial (monthly) forecasting.
– In support of the Team Lead, report project milestone updates to internal & external stakeholders;
– In support of the Team Lead, liaise with and be professionally responsible to internal & external stakeholder inquiries, needs, and escalations.
– Develop and implement new processes to increase efficiency and product quality
– Adhere to and promote environmental, health, and safety policies;
– When required, coordinate material handling following client procurement processes and logistics.

You bring:

– Formal education in Project Management and/or accreditation in a science or engineering field related to utility infrastructure (or will be working towards certification).
– 6-10 years of demonstrated success in managing and delivering on utility design and build projects and programs, inclusive of sub-contractor leadership and milestone management.
– Demonstrated success with organizing and communicating milestone and project deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
– Ability and attitude to drive teams forward constructively in all conditions.
– Ability to build trust through making the right decisions and living up to them.
– Ability to represent oneself and business professionally, and embody our white glove customer service culture.
