First Point Group are recruiting for a Project Manager for our client, a global telecom solutions and networking company boasting an international customer base and thousands of patents. The successful candidate will have experience managing optical projects such as ( OTN / DWDM) and IP.

Project Manager job description:

• Preparing projects for kick off
• Drive and prepare project schedules
• Utilise, engage and collaborate with this client’s eco-system of suppliers of resources and equipment to ensure that projects are met as per the
• requirements against time and budget
• Supervise and control the projects’ budget and looking for opportunities to add value
• Team up with the product and engineering teams to ensure success of the project through ensuring technical solution is detailed, controlled and communicated against

Required Experience for Project Manager role:

• Experience of or understanding of optical and IP telecom solutions
• Cost control / budget control and management understanding of international projects
• Strong communicator for internal and external stakeholders
• Experience and understanding of business meetings
• Be able to use desktop applications (Microsoft application suite and other related project planning software)
