Job Summary:

Maintaining database systems for either an on-premise solution or migration to end management of a cloud solution. Performs all NIST Framework Cybersecurity documentation as associated with both types of data systems.

Research and replace database systems as current ones become end of life cycle. Currently three meet this requirement. Because of the similarity of the systems nature, they can be combined into one Property Management System (PMS) or multiple systems., contractor will also be responsible for serving as a primary data systems administrator, adhoc report writer, and on-premise first level support technician.

Contractor will also be overlooking Guest Services Property Management System, currently Oracle OperaExpress with an on-premise (non-cloud) SQL (or equivalent) Property Management System alternative that is Section 508 compliant and interfaces with the Mitel VoIP Telephone Switch and Onity guest access card system for guest room doors

Research and replace the Registrar Events Management System currently Delphi Sales and Catering System with equivalent as well as Maintenance Management System currently Maximo with equivalent.

Requirements:

  • Perform client and desktop assistance for the clients help desk. Includes responding to phone calls, emails, and direct customer contacts; entering and managing technical support incidents in a ticketing system; troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving problems.
  • Enter all tickets into Foot Prints help desk. Manage all service requests and incidents in a timely manner with clear, concise information.
  • Support Windows 7 to 10 migration and full administration of the Windows 10 and all common desktop applications and related common hardware issues. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving Tier 1 support issues via phone, email, remote desktop and on site is required. Troubleshoot software and hardware problems and respond to all requests for assistance and determine the appropriate actions to resolve problems within agreed upon time frames in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Work with ArcGIS software, Adobe products, Microsoft Office products, Macintosh computers, Linux, and PhP.
  • Manage virtual LANs/VLAN between the Service and the classroom public networks.
  • Using FOG free open source ghost to manage computer lab equipment.
  • Experience in GIS concepts and application understanding.
  • Work with a variety of databases, their reports and peripherals and integrated common off-the-shelf applications including Delphi, OperaExpress, Micros POS, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, WASP, ContentDM, Dreamweaver, Microsoft IIS Web Services, FOG Server, Adobe products, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Access Deerhunt and ACE Log type applications.
  • Serve as the primary support technician for all desktop or secondary data systems including but not limited to Microsoft Access (deer hunt, acquisition log), .SSRS scripted employee survey (pulse check), survey tools, personal property supply management system WASP, Micros Point-of-sale, Aramark Star, Discovery Nature APP, .SSRS Calendar, NCTC and Division Sharepoint sites, NCTC Websites, etc.
  • Serve as a coordinator of National data systems including but not limited to Granicus (GovDelivery), Vbrick, Content Management System (CMS) Drupal and Moodle, Digital Asset Management (DAM), DOILearn/FedTalent Learning Management System (LMS) OCLC and other scientific journals, Refworks electronic bibliography application.
  • Serve as the coordinator for data systems documentation, compiling privacy impact statements (PIAs), detailing and assessing security controls, developing and testing contingency documentation, compiling business impact analysis, monitoring Section 508 GPAT and solicitation language against data systems, etc.
  • Compile and manage Enterprise License Agreements for client, Microsoft, Symantec, adobe, etc.
  • Perform data systems backup, redundancy, and multi-route access.
  • Configures VoIP phones and provides basic troubleshooting for VoIP system
  • Provides VoIP fundamental training sessions for Help Desk personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
