Project Superintendent

Join our growing team of construction professionals! We are a mid-sized commercial General Contractor/Construction Management company, looking for a qualified, dedicated Project Superintendent to manage $500K to $10M+ projects throughout southeast Michigan. This is a full time position offering a competitive employee benefits package including medical, dental and 401K.

JOB SUMMARY

Project Superintendents run the day-to-day operations on the construction site. They are the lead role in monitoring jobsite safety, quality control, and coordinating subcontractors while maintaining the project schedule.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Know and understand construction project plans and specifications, oversee and document daily operation of projects.

• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. Hold weekly safety meetings.

• Establish and maintain a master schedule with the Project Manager.

• Conduct pre-installation meetings with all subcontractors before they start the project.

• Communicate project progress with clients, Project Managers, and management. Provide Project Manager with weekly project status and schedule updates.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

5 years Commercial Construction supervision experience

30 Hour OSHA

Microsoft Office

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Microsoft Project

8-10 years Commercial Construction supervision experience

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
