Job Summary:
Receives and responds to telephone or other requests for emergency assistance, including law enforcement, fire, medical, or other emergency services and/or dispatches appropriate units to response sites; does related work as required maintaining contact with all field units and other agencies through direct phone lines. This includes responding to all elevator phone lines and all emergency call-box phone lines that ring directly into the communications center. Position may require shift, weekend, holiday and/or overtime work.
