Python Developer

Our telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for a Python Developer to work on large scale IT projects. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 4 years experience in this field.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Python Framework
• Develop complex data queries and processes using various tools and technologies
• Work with business analysts to understand the business requirements and translate to technical code
• Support the current production versions and help investigate issues and identify root causes and get it fixed as soon as possible

Key Competencies and Experience:

• Must have strong, hands-on experience in Python Programming
• Familiarity with ML models such as NLU
• Experience with FastAPI is considered a strong asset
• Experience in developing high performance code in Python
• Experience in unit and performance testing
• Experience in multi-threading and database integration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems is an asset
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Background in a customer interfacing role
• Telecom industry experience or knowledge
