Technical Experience / Skills Required
· Experience working with and testing Network components in any of the following domains:
o Layer-0/1 DWDM, OTN
o Layer-2 MPLS/carrier grade switches
o Layer-3 Routers
· Working knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Neo4j
· Understanding of OAM&P based products and their project lifecycle, including Service Layer Management, Inventory Management and Connection Management.
· Large-scale testing
· Automated test development experience using Python, JavaScript, Postman, Selenium, Cucumber and Protractor
· Automation execution experience in a DevOps environment such as Gitlab, Bitbucket, Teamcity
· Experience working with Microservice Based Architecture: Docker, Containers
· Knowledge of Enterprise based network management software solutions in a Unix/Linux/VM/Cloud based environment
· Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs)
· Experience with Software Defined Networking models such as Yang/Netconf
Software testing Experience
- Experienced with QA activities relating to test planning, automation, and test execution for telecom products
- Experienced in development of test strategy, test planning, manual & automation test development
- Experienced in manual & automation test execution of telecom products such as Network Management Systems, Network Elements, Orchestration, and Inventory
- Worked in an Agile development environment with experience testing either In-scrum or customer vertical use cases, implementing multi-functional workflows using API micro services
- Understanding of solution test, system performance, load and stress testing
Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Telecommunications specialty is highly desired
