REMOTE Project Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Relocation Project Coordinator will assist the Operations Finance Manager in managing all tasks related to relocation (of fiber and cable) projects. This position is primarily responsible for receiving project requests through proprietary queue and Salesforce system and will then assist in reviewing details of each project (scope, costs and schedule). The Project Coordinator will then create internal tasks and projects, adjust budget forecasts and manage cost revisions from cross-referencing project history with similar billing tasks. They will be responsible for assisting in creating contracts for reimbursements, management reimbursements, cost recovery and billings tasks by working with Accounting, Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and Billing as well as Outside Plant Managers and Fiber Engineering.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2+ years project coordinator experience (telecommunications, fiber, pipeline, GIS, construction are all helpful industries to better understand projects associated with position)

Smartsheets expertise (Excel, Google, Salesforce or Oracle preferred)

The position requires strong attention to detail, strong organizational and time management, and ability to work closely with the Manager and independently. Personal
communication skills are critical, as this role demands constant interaction across various teams including operations, finance, accounting, legal, and billing.

Strong attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Ability to understand the fundamentals of Dark Fiber and infrastructure required for connectivity.

Must be a self-motivator with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Must be able to work during normal business hours.

Strong reporting and data management skills: ability to define goals, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

DESIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of Salesforce.com platform is a plus including SiteTracker.
