Satellite Internet Installation Technician

Advanced Home Solutions is a telecommunications company based in Gallipolis, Ohio. We have been in business for over 10 years starting out in DirecTV and Dish Network installations before becoming one of the largest Authorized HughesNet Dealers in the country. We are a family owned business that currently employ & contract over 30 office staff and technicians alike. We are a pro-technician company that strives to put our technicians in the best position to succeed.

We provide a company gas card and a company phone. We do not provide a company vehicle. Currently health insurance is not offered, though this will change in the future.

Currently our territory spans nearly 200 counties across Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.

Job Requirements:

• A reliable Truck, Van, or SUV—-NO CARS
• Ladder and tools required to complete an installation
• Valid Driver’s License
• Be Punctual
• Dress and act professionally
• Be able to lift up to 80lbs
• Ability to climb a ladder safely up to no more than two stories

Job Duties:

• Communicate with the office and customers
• Track and maintain a small inventory of Hughes equipment
• Provide great customer service
• Work independently
• Perform jobs at multiple sites (residences) per day
• Install, Repair, Troubleshoot Hughes Net Internet which includes but is not limited to tri-mast mounts on roofs, pole mounts in the ground, trenching, running cable, light drilling, troubleshooting modems, pointing a satellite dish, running diagnostics.

Pay: $52,127.00 – $76,991.00 per year
