Senior NOC Administrator (On-Site)

*This is a fully on-site role and reports to our corporate headquarters at Gillette Stadium Monday-Friday*

SUMMARY:
The Senior NOC Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the Network Operation Command Center in support of all TKG companies, including but not limited to TKG (Gillette Stadium Campus Companies), RWG, RWCB and residential locations. This position is the primarily point-of-contact for the administration and support of our command center and data back-up/retention systems. This individual will help support our disaster retention and recovery and compliance systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect, Design, Implement and Support Dell Avamar/DataDomain Data Recovery Systems.
  • Ensure that all back-up/retention schedules are adhered to with proper notification to management of any system failures or non-compliant scenarios.
  • Provide monthly attestation of data retention and application restoration testing to Risk and Compliance Manager.
  • Configure and Monitor end-point back-up recovery points for defined critical users.
  • Lead annual disaster recovery data recovery testing process.
  • Design and Program the SolarWinds Network Management System so that event-based detection alerts, bandwidth utilization and historical trends can be evaluated by the support teams.
  • Enhance the operation of SolarWinds by enabling new MIB based protocols as new devices are introduced to the environment.
  • Load balance and monitor the performance of the SolarWinds system for effective performance.
  • Engage with the appropriate service delivery teams to ensure that notifications are properly handed off for remediation.
  • Responsible for the management of all MDF and IDF based UPS systems to include pro-active system testing, environmental and network monitoring, and overall performance.
  • SPOC and liaison for external parties (Broadcasters, Clients, Telecommunication Partners) who require permanent or temporary access to voice and data systems.
  • Experience in TCP/IP fundamentals; Eaton and Schneider Environmental Systems.
  • Manage the overall relationship between the organization and our industrial partners including Siemens, C&W Services, General Electric and Generac to name a few.
  • Maintains the architectural as-builds and change management compliance for each location inclusive of the equipment and facilities records.
  • Lead Engineer for the support of the organizations MAC O/S based systems, including the evaluation, testing and implementation of software patch releases and escalation point for problem resolution beyond the help desk team.
  • Architect and Lead Engineer for the organizations AirWatch, JAMF and Intune mobile device management systems including responsibility for configuration, compliancy and management efforts associated with these operating environments.
  • Primary responsibility for the management of A/V based conferencing technologies inclusive of WebEx and Zoom. Responsible for the overall system performance, advanced troubleshooting, and software release management for the organizations
  • Supporting the integration between the SolarWinds and ServiceDesk call ticketing system.
  • Primary project manager for electrical based projects.
  • Perform Onsite visits to repair and/or troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor service requests while also managing add/move/change requests.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and adherence to contract terms and conditions.
  • Communicate with Supervisors on Project Progress Reporting and Integration time frames
  • Manage external vendor service and implementation initiatives.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five + years experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Familiarity with Windows Server Active Directory, VMWare, and Dell/EMC Storage Platforms
  • Familiarity with Dell Avamar/Data Domain, Carbonite and Acronis Back-Up Systems
  • Managing SolarWinds Network Management Systems and Processes.
  • Resolving identified vulnerabilities based on defined standards.
  • Flexible hours depending on projects and schedules throughout the year and event coverage as needed
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Periodic on-call coverage
