Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for an experience Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, crafting, developing, and delivering commercially viable end-to-end IMS technical solutions for the customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals. Your work will in part shape our customer legacy!

As a Solution Architect (SA), you will be responsible for managing customer requirements and proposing solutions utilizing Ericsson and 3rd party products. The primary focus is to understand customers’ needs and provide superior services by creating outstanding business value for our customers through cost effective and innovative solutions.

The SA should be competent in handling constant change of scope and displaying leadership with respect to Ericsson resources as well as third party suppliers and subcontractors. As an SA you will be placed at the center of activities, entailing a high level of interaction with Product Units as well as Customer, Technical, Marketing and Business Development teams. You will plan, design and deliver solutions that improve the customer network in terms of capacity, functionality, end-user services etc. The Solution Architect will work across the IMS portfolio.

What you will do

• Act in the Solution Architect Role in both Pre-Sales & Delivery phases of a customer engagement
• Support the KAM, CORE 3, and Engagement practices to prepare RFI, RFP, and RFQ documentation
• Lead the solution analysis, solution design for End to End Cloud Solutions with focus on IMSv
• Provide and drive solutions, covering IMSv domain and layers in the customer network and systems
• Lead implementation resources like Ericsson resources, third party suppliers and contractors.
• Create competitive solutions/services through a consultative approach, focusing on customer/business needs
• Manage customer solution road-maps and customer solution life-cycles.
• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
• Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build
• Work in a team environment with excellent collaboration and support

You will bring

• Years of professional technical experience: Overall 15+ (5+ as Solution Architect)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (IT, Telecom) or other technical field or the equivalent level of experience.
• Must have significant experience of designing, deploying, or supporting IMS solutions, primarily the SBC functions (sometimes referred to as SBG)
• Knowledge and experience of 5G core a plus.
• Must have significant experience of delivering sophisticated solutions, directly collaborating with external customer.
• Ability to dig deeper into technical issues as needed and be able to simplify and connect with customers at different levels.
• Ability to lead and guide project team in making key technical decisions.
• Experience of creating, selling, and delivering end-to-end solutions with multiple partners and subcontractors.
• Excellent business understanding.
• Demonstrated experience in developing written documentation and deliverables.
• Experience of delivering technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge and experience of deploying software in virtual or cloud environments, such as OpenStack, OpenShift, or containerization using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of tools for CICD/Automation, DevOps, and Agile ways of working.
• Passion to work in teams for customer projects in a highly collaborative environment.
