Solution Architect

About this opportunity:

Design and develop project 5G core telecommunications network solutions and functions, including packet core controller, packet core gateway, and signaling controller involving SEPP, BSF, and SCP standards.

What you will do:

Collaborate with sales team in pre-sales phase with technical inputs over solutions, including 4G DSC (Diameter Signaling Controller) and 5G nodes (Packet Core Controller, Packet Core Gateway, and Signaling Controller). Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis. Prepare high-level design, details-level design, and test documents for packet core nodes and perform customer presentations. Perform and manage network performance investigations to identify performance improvements and develop actions for implementing them. Provide support for day-to-day activities in DSC and 5G Packet Core nodes, including resolving complex technical problems relating to the installation and integration. Design 4G and 5G IP network, including mobile backhaul and IP infrastructure. Deploy and support 4G DNS servers. Work with Agile methodologies in a product production environment. Requires 10% domestic travel.

You will bring:

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience involving wireless communication and diameter routing agent in telecommunications networks or Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience involving wireless communication and diameter routing agent in telecommunications networks. Also, 2 years of experience (2 years w/ Master’s or Bachelor’s degree) to involve: designing project 5G core network functions, including packet core controller, packet core gateway, and signaling controller involving SEPP, BSF, and SCP standards; designing 4G and 5G IP network, including mobile backhaul and IP infrastructure; deploying and supporting 4G DNS servers; and working with Agile methodologies in a product production environment.
