The Senior Solutions Architect will define the phenomenal technical solutions for VMO2 and its evolution to meet our demands. The Architect will focus on providing driven solutions that meet customer requirements and will support the new product creation process as well as crafting the core platform at the heart of all our solutions.

Whether you’re working within the Market Development & Wholesale team bringing new 5G and Smart/IOT technologies and market propositions to life or supporting the development of our more established products in the Product & Partnerships team, you will be contributing hands on to the growth and opportunity VMO2 has in the Enterprise, Public Sector and SMB space. And with flexibility to work across the different categories, you’ll always have opportunities for professional growth and development.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• Proven track record of designing and deploying sophisticated solutions
• Be responsible for the definition / maintenance of the technical architecture including: Security compliance,, platform architecture and features, re-architecture of current infrastructure, alignment and collaboration with the product roadmap
• Demonstrable experience providing technical direction, structure and a clear baseline for solutions architecture
• Strong capability to present solutions to stakeholders, including an understanding of their business drivers and preferences
• Good understanding of KPIs, usage stats & availability reports with capability to analysis the implications of these for the delivered solution, and assessment of any indicators of solution faults or non-compliance

The other stuff we’re looking for

We’d also love you to bring;

• Solutions management methodologies TOGAF/ITIL) or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of industry trends, research, and developments relating to the Architecture and Solution Design profession; particularly within Telecoms
