We are seeking a qualified Senior Telecom Electronic Bench Technician to join our team at our Florida location. Troubleshooting, software & firmware installations, record keeping, and occasional technical assistance will all be requirements of this role.

Our facility is located at 16923 Lakeside Dr, Montverde, FL 34756.

Your Schedule

Full-Time, hourly position. Monday through Friday, 8a-5p, though occasional overtime may be required to reach department goals.

Compensation Plan

$18.00 – $25.00 hourly, depending on background and skillset.

Benefits include PTO, a fully paid Health plan and life insurance policy. Optional but available benefits include 401K, Dental, and Vision insurance. W-2 Employee.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3 years minimum experience in similar role.
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting, testing, modifying, and repairing electronic equipment at the component level.
  • Soldering of both surface mount and thru-hole is a MUST.
  • Fiber splicing experience a PLUS.
  • Understanding of hardware and software upgrades at a process level.
  • Experience with various testing equipment, e.g., DMM, oscilloscopes, and computer aided devices.
  • Excellent communication skills within a team environment.
  • Ability to perform in a goal driven and high-pressure setting while completing essential tasks without losing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Talent for identifying priorities and acting accordingly.
  • Proven track record of dependability.
  • High school diploma REQUIRED.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience a PLUS.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to type and operate necessary equipment.
  • Ability to sit for short periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
