Salary: Up to £25,000 DOE

Location: Ouchthorpe Lane, Wakefield

Would you like to join one of the largest providers of communications and IT solutions across the UK as a Service Desk Engineer? Your key objective will be to provide support for incident resolution and requests reported to the service desk.

About the role…

Responsibilities include initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Drive, self-motivation, and ability to work under own initiative
• Previous customer service experience
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge

It would be advantageous (not essential) for you to have:

• Experience on an IT and/or Telecoms Service Desk
• Exposure to products and services supported by the desk
• Knowledge and experience working with ITSM tools such as Service Now
• An understanding of ITIL
