Description
VF’s SIM Technology Centre (STC) is accountable for the strategic evolvement, security, engineering, life cycle management and operational excellence of VF centrally provided SIM/eSIM products and solutions. This includes the “classical” SIM, eSIM, eSIM provisioning systems and all current and future SIM/eSIM products and services. The main purpose of our work is to constantly ensure customer’s secure access to the Vodafone networks and services. This is achieved through a dedicated SIM security and SIM product strategy, which is also the basis for Vodafone to be compliant with telecommunication laws and regulations while also ensuring Vodafone’s billing integrity.
The STC enables Consumer and Enterprise organisation to provide connectivity and services to their customers by deployment of SIM/eSIM products, eSIM solutions and innovative SIM technologies, drives the SIM digitalization and the introduction of new services.
The role: Service Management Expert
As the Service Management Expert, you will ensure that (e)SIM services and solutions provided through the centralized IT infrastructure of Vodafone’s SIM Technology Center meet the operational business needs and service requirements of our external customers or internal business units. You will focus on the management of centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements and provides support for the availability of the Vodafone services. This also includes the alignment, and implementation of the operational model with suppliers and internal or external customers.
This means you will establish and maintain an effective relationship with all relevant stakeholder, especially with those suppliers, providing IT services and IT infrastructure for Vodafone (e)SIM services.
The control and ongoing optimization of service processes and, release planning, life-cycle management and the coordination and control of SLAs are an integral part of Service Management, including responsibility for KPI dashboards resulting in improvement actions.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring that on-going service delivery and support meets agreed customer requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for service improvements, discussing these with the business teams and suppliers, raising RFCs as appropriate, driving suppliers to improve operational performance as part of continuous improvement plan.
- Managing and optimize service management processes and ensure its documentation.
- Ensuring operational excellence of the service in collaboration with the product owner, suppliers, customers and operational teams.
- Negotiating eSIM service SLAs and OLAs and ensure services are delivered against SLA’s.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in Service Management in Vodafone
- Excellent knowledge in ITIL service management lifecycle
- Deep knowledge of the eSIM platforms and IoT solutions – Proficient- 3 years
- Excellent Change management and Service relationship and delivery experience
- Analytical skills to interpret key data to drive improvement, efficiency and new thinking
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent communication skills
