Description of Role
SRI Telecom is seeking a project administrator with experience in a services-based industry to join the team. This position is a full-time position. The ideal candidate and most successful project administrator will demonstrate ownership, be proactive, is naturally detail-oriented , a multitasker, self-motivated team player, is service minded and a skilled problem solver.
Tasks
- Provide administrative support to field technicians, operations directors, and customer from job creation to job completion.
- Communicate and coordinate with project manager, operations directors, area managers, customers, upper management, and the administrative staff.
- Manage invoicing for operations director internally and externally to customer portals.
- Approve timesheets for assigned region.
- Conduct internal purchase order reconciliations.
- Conduct customer purchase order reconciliations.
- Manage job administration (start to finish) by acknowledging PO, internal job set-up on all platforms, daily progress tracking with project manager, and operations directors, invoicing and collections, customer updates and job closure.
- Approve and protect job costing.
- Work directly with and communicate directly with CFO regarding change orders, EAC, changes in projected GP, job costing and under billings.
Skills & Responsibilities
- 10+ years related experience in project administration, customer support and administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management/business/finance/accounting related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong proficiency in Excel.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented and organized.
- General understanding of project management methods, timelines, project life cycle and workflow.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, well developed interpersonal skills in oral and written communication (both in persona and via phone and other media) for the use of information exchange.
- This position reports to CFO.
Work Schedule
Flexible, Monday through Friday, 8 am- 5 pm in our Lafayette, LA office. Monthly (one day) visits to our corporate office in Baton Rouge, LA for staff meetings and team building.

Salary
This position pays $60,000 – $80,000 Salary depending on experience + annual year-end performance bonus.
Performance reviews are conducted annually on or before April 1st.
This position can sit in Lafayette, LA (120 Rue Beauregard, Ste. 100, Lafayette, LA 70508), with the possibility of becoming remote after 2 years.
