Job Title: Structured Cabling Technician
Reports To: Lead Structured Cabling Technician and/or Project Manager
Pay: $20-$27 per hr. based upon experience.

We are hiring for Structured Cabling Technicians to work in Casa Grande, AZ. This role is a contract to hire, joining a growing team offering continued industry training and a career path.
Job Responsibilities:
· Technical Work
o Installation of cable infrastructure (CAT5/E, CAT6, and Fiber).
o Dress and route cable into IT closets, modular furniture, and other work area outlets.
o Cable pathway installation (J-hooks, D-rings, cable trays, and ladder racks).
o Cable management (dressing and labeling).
o Cable Termination (Patch Panel, Jacks, Keystones, RJ-45/Modular Plug).
o Wireless Access Point (WAP), Fiber ONT, and Network Switch installation.
o IT Closet Builds (Data rack, ladder rack, cable tray, patch panel, sleeves, 110/66 blocks).
o Fiber splicing, installation, and testing (Fluke and OTDR experience).
o Read and follow blueprints set for installation.
o Follow safety guidelines and protocols (Proper PPE, clean up jobsite, OSHA).
· Management (Lead Technician)
o Manage teams to effectively complete large-scale commercial projects.
o GC/Client management experience.
o Conduct safety meetings.
o Order appropriate materials as necessary
o Necessary Labor Forecasting.
o Blueprint changes. Submit change orders to Project Manager
Job Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
· 2+ years of commercial structured cabling, low voltage, or data cable installation experience.
· Scissor/Boom Lift Certification – preferred.
· Active OSHA 10 – preferred
· Physical Requirement: Must be able to work on a ladder and/or scissor lift. Work in confined spaces, can lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds. Ability to work on your feet for entire shift.
- Tools: Basic Hand Tools: screwdriver (multi-Bit), tape measure, snips, pliers (needle nose and channel locks), cable stripper, punch down tool, flashlight, work boots (steel toe or composite toe) gloves and tool pouch.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour
