Tasks

For the development of our ADAS sensors and systems for one of the major European customer we are looking for a Technical Project Manager (m/f/diverse) at our locations Ulm or Lindau.

As Technical Project Manager (m/f/diverse) you are leading the cross-functional engineering team of system engineering, hardware, software, mechanics and test to achieve the technical project targets according to schedule over the complete lifecycle of the project. You are responsible for the overall product releases, and you are coordinating the execution of the discipline releases (hardware, software, mechanics). You are also responsible for the quality of the technical work products of the project and for the coordination of the cross-functional work packages.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

Technical project management of all engineering activities to achieve the project goals

Manage and solve technical issues jointly with the engineering team

Prepare technical decision options for the project manager and management

Ensure the execution of all the necessary activities for the product releases

Support project management with effort and budget estimations

Responsible to release and hand-over the product documentation for industrialization

Technical interface for cross-functional engineering topics towards the customer

Management of all required type approvals, licenses, and intellectual property activities

Qualifications

Academic degree in electronics, electrotechnics, telecommunication or comparable qualification, PhD is desirable

Experiences as Technical Project Manager (e.g., Software Project Manager, Hardware Project Manager etc.) (m/f/diverse)

Experience with development processes, product development life cycle

Experience with the automotive industry desired

Experience with coordination of international and virtual teams

Technical understanding and ability to solve technical problems

Very good German and English language skills written and spoken

Ability to learn, result orientation and decision-making skills

Very good communication skills as well as customer and quality orientation
