Description of the hiring department (Sector of activities: Radio Communication):
The Radio division of Bell Mobility operates in the management of networks offered to Public Safety Organisms. The kind of work is very diversified and requires autonomy on the part of employees, as much in the development of skills as in the organisation of the works. The Radio division calls upon its employees to be engaged and provide a superior quality of service and promptness demanded by its customers.
The successful candidate will report to the manager of technical services – Radio division and the main duty is to repair user equipment in shop. The candidate has to be able to repair and install telecom equipment in a vehicle. Will also need to participate or respond to urgent calls out of normal working hours in a rotation with his peer group.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
Accomplish repair on user and network equipment (Shop repair)
Accomplish repair on Telecommunication equipment on the road
Accomplish installation of telecom equipment in vehicle
Trouble ticket management (Update and completion)
Special assembly work (Shop repair)
Documentation
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
College degree (Electronics, Telecommunications)
Understand radio communications network – Trunking, Motorola ‘’Fleetnet’’ / Conventional
Computer skills, Information Systems
As required to meet customer’s needs, the successful candidate must pass both, Bell and Police background checks
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
Telecommunication experience (5-10 years)
Shop repair experience
Field repair and installation experience

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
