Surecom
The Surecom team of Boone Electric is seeking a lead telecom cabler for coax, voice & data rough-in and terminations for new apartment and condominium buildings in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
Applicant must be able to lead a crew to complete cabling & terminations in multi-family buildings up to 300 units.
Requirements:
- Min 3 years of experience in telecom cabling in multi-family and/or mixed-use buildings.
- Min 1 year experience as a lead telecom cabler in multi-family and/or mixed-use buildings.
- EL(06) (preferred)

Duties include:
- Leading a crew to install & terminate coax, voice & data cabling in multi-family & mixed-use buildings in a clean and neat manner
- Coordinating with project manager and builder to complete work on schedule
- Tracking change orders
- Managing tools, materials & manpower
- Planning pathways & coordinating with other trades
- Drilling routes and pathways
- Installing outlets boxes and smart panels
- Installing coax, Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, and microduct
- Terminating & testing coax, Cat5e, and Cat6 cables
- Building racks, and MDF/IDF closets
- Training apprentices
- Executing our safety plan

Pay: $26.00 – $38.00 per hour
