Brothers Broadband is currently looking for FTTH Civil Labourers / Foreman in Alberta and British Columbia

Job description

Telecommunication Civil Construction Laborer / Foreman
Working with Civil Crew to assist on projects

· Must have FTTH civil experience: Vault placement, Breakouts, Pipe connections and remediation operations.

· Operating small tools and concrete saws

· Assisting in maintaining a clean jobsite and adhering to all safety guidelines

· Must have attention to detail and ensure homeowners’ landscaping is well maintained after service wire is connected and infrastructure has been completed.

· Preference given to candidates that can operate trucks with enclosed trailer to and from site safely

Qualifications

· Basic knowledge of blueprint reading is an asset,

. 1-2 years telecom construction / shallow utility experience is required

· Must have valid Alberta or BC driver’s license with clean driving record

. Class 5 Licence with good driving record mandatory/ Air brakes endorsement / Manual transmission operation would be an asset

· Driven to take pride in work

· Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs

· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Must be able to work 40hr work weeks Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime

· Must have own transportation to get to yard by 6:45AM

· Must be able to speak English

· Ability to follow instructions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

-Salary: 30-35$ per hour depending on role and experience of candidate

-Loa and hotels included for work outside of edmonton

Schedule:

• Day shift 10-12 hours a day / 14-7 rotation

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
