Project Manager. Client is looking for self-motivated individuals who can work independently as well as with a team atmosphere and is willing to take the initiative to be a leader and look to advance.

A Telecom Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning, project organization, project execution, and project management for efforts within the company in coordination with stakeholders (internal / external), teams, and customers.

They should have an aptitude for thinking outside the box and bring critical thinking, organization, and overall team management. This professional should be aware of all stakeholders needs, project goals, and coordination needed to bring projects to a successful completion.

Success in this role is measured by the Project Manager’s ability to ensure that projects are completed to specification, within the approved time frame, and on budget.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Deliver projects on time, on budget, in scope, and meeting company standards

· Maintain project timeframes, change control, budgeting, and status reports

· Manage project risks and escalate issues/risks as appropriate

· Develop and maintain plans which outline project status individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocation

· Assign and oversee the daily tasks of project resources while ensuring all stakeholders are actively working toward established milestones

· Facilitate team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

· Coordinate the roll-out schedules, rallying internal resources, and setting expectations with company customers

· Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 3 – 5 years’ experience delivering technology solutions (Telecom Specific) in the role of Project Manager

· Experience using MS Project Office, Visio, PPM tools, and O365 suite

· Experience managing IT infrastructure / deployment projects in a customer facing environment

Preferred Qualifications

· Higher Level Degree

· 5 – 8 years’ experience delivering technology solutions in the role of Project Manager

· PMI certification or Accredited Professional Project Management Certification

· Familiarity with IT terms, methodologies, and standards

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

· Full understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods

· Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and leading teams

· Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve the project’s goals and complete the work

· Ability to manage challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

· Understanding of IT departments organizations and technology

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical issues and coordinate with team members and management for resolution

· Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills

· Strong understanding of project budget management

· Experience on getting stuff done working with non-direct reports (Strong Influencer)

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

Role Type: Full-Time Contract (1099)

Pay Range: $60.00 – $75.00

Location: 95% Remote (5% Travel to locations and office meetings as needed)

Job Types: Contract, Full-time
