Sales Support Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW: The sales support manager will be responsible for assisting the sales team with support and management of their clients’ telecommunication environments. This individual will work both as a lead and a backup on tasks like quotes, orders, project management, technical support, network changes, and migrations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Telecom order and MACD processing
  • Oversee projects and implementations
  • Lead or participate in conference calls/meetings
  • Generate proposals and provide pricing/quotes
  • Provide support for clients during outages and installations
  • Serve as a liaison for customers and their telecom providers
  • Maintain and review customer contracts
  • Submit and research billing requests and disputes
  • Facilitate escalations and provide detailed updates
  • Maintain and create a customer inventory and service records
  • Maintain sales automation tools and customer tracking sheets

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years telecom carrier ordering and billing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the telecommunication space
  • Basic knowledge of the following product types: MPLS, SDWAN, PRI, SIP, UCaaS, POTs, DIA, and Broadband
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Project management Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00 – $6,000.00 per month

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Telecommunication: 2 years (Required)
