The Comtran Group, A Quanta Services Company is looking for an Telecom Aerial Lineman in Buford ,Ga and the surrounding areas for long haul and Fiber distribution projects. Must live or be willing to relocate to the North Ga area. Pay is based on experience.
Safely operate bucket trucks.
Install strand and applicable hardware .
Place fiber optic and ADSS fiber cables
Utilize standard telecommunication tools
Utilize J- Lasher
Track and communicate daily production and materials
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience Working as a Aerial Lineman
Ability to climb utility poles using climbing gear and rigging and experience operating and performing work in a bucket truck
Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to the construction process
Proficient in new build and pole transfers, knowledge in building strand , lashing ,pole transfers & grounding
Clean driving record and MVR
