Title: Telecommunications Analyst
Location: HI, 96860
Duration: 12 months
Note: This is Onsite Position
Job Description:
- Assist Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) with technical oversight on Telecommunications program.
- Provide documentation and policy guidance on Telecommunications governance.
- Complete decision and information briefs Author policy documents related to the CNIC enterprise.
- Participate in planning meetings with customer to provide knowledgeable feedback on Telecommunications policies and standards.
- Provide a final Telecommunications template to NIWC upon completion of surveys and meetings.
- Ensure program utilizes best practice in telecommunication evolution methodology and IT streamlining designed for and utilized in the DISN Technical Evolution Plan (DTEP).
- Liaise with regional stakeholders to identify and define objectives, benefits, risks, issues, opportunities, requirements, and scope utilizing advanced and proven outreach best practices and methodologies and leveraging advanced PAC telecommunications infrastructure knowledge, Manage and influence cross-functional strategic and business planning processes with key stakeholders to develop concepts for strategic initiatives and planning for resources, roadmaps, funding, projects, and programs.
- Proficiency in DoD utilized access point technology such as the DISA Internet Access Points (IAP) and Cloud Access Points (CAP) to document technologies, interconnectivity, and interoperability.
- Advanced knowledge and skill in applying cost-benefit analysis principles and cost efficiency methodologies along with knowledge of commercial telecommunications suppliers as utilized and demonstrated in the Commerical Ethernet Gateway (CEG) program.
- Advanced knowledge of DISA PAC infrastructure, interconnectivity, and interoperability.
