JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading global provider of automated test and assurance solutions for networks, cybersecurity, and positioning. The Telecommunications Automation Engineer will act as a Resident Engineer providing service to one of our client’s largest accounts. The main objective is to automate the testing process for 4G and 5G call flow. Responsibilities will include attending a daily status meeting at 8:30am EST to provide updates and understand the required tasks for the day. The Engineer will write test cases and automate testing around Spirent Landslide using Python and Robot. The ideal candidate will have strong network and telecommunications knowledge. This position provides the opportunity to work on a high priority, large scale initiative for our client.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years Python/Robot programming experience
- 5+ years’ experience automating testing tools for telecommunications or network testing
- Focus is creating automation test cases based on client’s dynamic test plan requirements
- Spirent Landslide test tool experience (preferred) or experience with similar tools like Ixia/Keysight
- Roles are currently remote due to client policies
Customer is located in Dallas-area, working aligned with central time zone is required
DESIRED SKILLS
- Wireless Telecom call flow experience (4G/5G)
