K-Line is hiring full-time, permanent Line Technicians for our Telecom Operations Team.

Core Responsibilities:

– Working aloft on poles, ladders, other support structures and mechanical aerial equipment

– Operate a basket line truck and truck mounted trailer

– Use equipment such as a cable lasher and construction tools

– Load and unload equipment from the truck and trailer

– Install Steel, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, and copper cables both aerial and underground

– Completing site specific paperwork as needed

– Follow all K-Line Construction safe work practices

Qualifications:

– Class 5 Drivers Licence with air brake certification (or are willing to get air brake certification)

– Experience with labour intensive job environments

– Willing to work in confined spaces or work at heights (climbing poles or in a basket)

– Experience with operating power and hand tools

– Able to work with others, and with minimal supervision

– Willing to travel within the Maritimes
