Salary – £100k DOE (20% bonus)

The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently searching for an experienced Telecommunications Operations Director, to join a well-established successful, growing team in the Kent area.

Within this role you will lead the future growth and drive profitability within the business. You must have a track record of delivering high growing companies as well as thriving to challenge ways of working to improve overall effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities

• Inspirational leader to all including the Customer service and Customer support teams driving satisfaction ensuring that the highest-level of service is given
• Lead the Central Operations team, ensuring the effective planning of networks
• Lead the build support team and civils team effectively ensuring that the teams can perform against the business plan
• Enhance overall performance and availability of the service
• Drive initiatives and efficiencies to facilitate improvements within the service and keep the business on track with the business plan
• Inspire and lead the operations teams, you will be able to analyse problems, identify changes required to support efficiencies and provide robust but adaptable solutions which meet current and future growth requirements
• Impact results, enhance profitability, drive high performance, and can deliver against the business plan
• Work within the required budget to meet business growth opportunities
• Set strategic/realistic goals
• Plan and monitor day-to-day running of the business to ensure high drive performances
• Review financial data and revise operational budgets to drive profitability

Experience Required

• Proven experience and delivery as a Director of Operations
• Experience in the Telecommunications or similar industry
• Part of the lead in delivering strategy in a high growth company
• In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field
• Experience with key stakeholders such as Authorities
• Exceptional knowledge of Openreach networks and industry legal rules/guidelines
