Responsibilities
Voice New England, a Telecommunications Solutions provider, is seeking a talented Outside Sales Consultant with 1-3 years of outside sales experience, in a business-to-business environment, offering customized solutions and outstanding customer support. Our telecommunication solutions allow for customers to conduct their business remotely, as needed.
A background in Telecommunications Business VOIP systems, PBX systems is required. The ideal candidate will possess deep relationship sales and new account development experience in a base + commissioned sales environment with a proven track record of achieving quota through closing sales.
The work will include marketing the latest and innovative telecommunication products to existing and new customers, prospecting, pipeline building and closing of sales deals.
Key Essential Responsibilities:
- Prospecting, cold calling, selling our telecom products.
- Identify opportunities and generate new business among existing client accounts, up-selling the new technology in whichever form is optimal to the customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with account influencers and decision makers.
- Engage in new client opportunities through networking and prospecting.to develop and grow an ongoing and reliable pipeline.
- Execute a sales process that optimizes results in winning new business for the company.
- Achieve/exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas on a consistent basis; Implement sales/marketing tactics and programs in order to meet or exceed assigned objectives.
- Participate in regional networking events and strategically network through local companies and prospects.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry.
- Ability to articulate, define and execute creative strategies to grow Telecomm sales and reach new markets with our value proposition aligned with client business objectives.
- Understanding of the entire sales cycle from researching a prospect, to scheduling demos, to negotiation, to contracting, to closing a deal.
- Perform additional duties and special projects related to the position as assigned.

Required keys for success:
- Proven knowledge of telecommunication sales with emphasis on systems such as VoIP, voice networking and PBX systems.
- Consultative approach and confidence in product presentations and strong sales skills in proposal design.
- Deadline-driven with the ability to close on sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- BA/BS degree required
