Title: Telecom Technician
Duration: 6 Months Contract (potential to extension)
Location: Decatur, IL 62526
Job Description:
Responsible for providing customer service to all users including cabling, phones, server farm installations, equipment room design, wireless LAN deployment, troubleshooting, and monitoring of ServiceNow Ticket system.
Manage and coordinate daily tasks and projects for Global LAN/WAN cabling and network printing infrastructure in support of the core business function. This role will work with a team of installations staff and contractors responsible for all aspects of campus, area, and fiber backbone cabling. This person must be a highly organized, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, complex, global environment; and have proven measurable experience with all aspects of a major cabling infrastructure deployment with a strong skill set in project management.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $1.00 – $3.00 per hour
