Telecommunications Tower Climber

Idaho Tower Construction Company (ITCC) is seeking motivated, career-oriented individuals to help expand our team in the Idaho market. We are an industry leading contractor in the Rocky Mountain and Pacific Northwest Regions, providing professional and specialized services to our customers. ITCC performs new tower construction, microwave design and installation, LTE carrier installations, small-cell development, DAS, modification and raw land projects. Our customers include Verizon, T-Mobile, ATT, Sprint, Mastec, General Dynamics, Crown Castle, SBA, Nexius, government agencies and many more.

We are currently seeking Tower Technician Level I and Tower Technician Level 2 (Top Hand) associates for W-2 employment.

Tower Climber I Requirements:

• Safe climbing experience preferred

• High School Diploma

• Seeking fit individuals acclimated to working in all weather conditions and capable of lifting 75 pounds.

• Valid driver’s license

• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening, as well as pre-employment background check

• Capability to understand and interpret construction drawings

• General understanding of rigging, hoisting, and installing tower top equipment

• Ground level grounding principles, conduit installation, and equipment delivery skills

• Must have the ability to travel

• Basic computer and communication skills

TOWER CLIMBER I

As a level I Tower Climber at ITCC your duties will include:

• Tower top installation of RF and structural components

• LTE upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting

• 5G installation and deployment

• Basic rigging for equipment installation and decommission

• Materials delivery, inventory/scan, and document as necessary

• Exothermic-welding, trenching, and ground-ring installation

• BTS equipment installation

• Concrete preparations and placement

• New site construction, microwave, and overlay projects

• Assist with crew Top Hand and Foreman needs
